What is the purpose of life?

What is the purpose of life if we die anyway? The purpose of life is to experience human experiences, challenge our physical reality, and assist one another throughout this journey. At least, that’s what we believe anyway. Here, we will share with you our spiritual perspective on the purpose of life, give it be wrong or right:

Experience human experiences

Have you ever heard the saying “we are spiritual beings having a human experience”? If you haven’t, you might be questioning what that possibly could mean? And even if you have, you still might be wondering what that even means.

Coming from a spiritual perspective, human experiences are infinite or everything – both physically and energetically that we see to be our reality. Or in simple terms, human experiences are everything you think being a human is. The good and the ugly. And we believe human experiences play a significant purpose in our life, despite us dying anyway.

To put that into perspective, let’s use childhood as an example. When I think of the word childhood, I think about myself as a child. That includes emotions I felt, situations I was in the way life once used to be, how different people around me were, and my physical experience. All of those things I would consider to be a small part of my human experience.

Now, how does that relate to the purpose of life? Well, still using childhood as an example – childhood played an important part for me as an adult. It provided me physical experiences, a development in emotional growth, and taught me about myself. All of which has affected me up until this point (when writing this article).

If we now look past childhood and look at everything we’ve experienced in life, up until this point of course: we believe the purpose of life is to simply experience everything.

Challenge our reality

I think an important part of the purpose of life is to challenge our reality whilst here on earth. What someone perceives as their reality, varies significantly from person to person. Our reality is made up of everything we identify with, things we experience here on earth, as well as our beliefs and core values. Challenging our reality can help us see alternative reasons for the purpose of life, and can even shift the way we move throughout our life.

Provide to society

When we say that the purpose of life is to provide to society: that doesn’t necessarily mean one rigid definition. And when I think of the words “provide to society,” I view that as making a difference to the world, however I see fit.  For example, the way I believe I provide to society is the way I help others through inspirational writing`.

Here are some other examples of how providing to society provides a purpose to life:

  • Giving back
  • Making a difference
  • Changing someone’s life
  • Doing things with no expectations in return
  • Radiating love throughout
  • Sharing knowledge
  • Being positive
  • Helping when possible

In conclusion (what is the purpose of life)

It’s safe to say that we all have different views about the purpose of life. These were some of the things we believe make up our purpose here on earth, and experiencing death is also one of them.
